|7 Grand Dad|
|Hack of||The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino & Hoppy|
|Publisher||J.Y. Company (?)|
7 Grand Dad, also known as Super Mario Bros. 7, is a well known hack of The Flintstones: The Rescue of Dino and Hoppy, It is very popular because of its Internet memes. According to the title screen the game was released in 1992, and it was likely originally released by J.Y. Company given one PROM on its PCB says JY215. == Overview == 7 Grand Dad changes part of the title screen, namely the logo and adding a giant Mario sprite. During gameplay, Fred Flintstone's head was replaced with Mario's, but Fred's name on the HUD remains the same. Some of the graphics were taken from Dian Shi Ma Li and Super Mario Bros. 3. The game is started on the map screen, which allows the player to select between the first 3 levels. All of the end credits were changed to XXXXXXX.
== Trivia == *Along with Fortran (from Dian Shi Ma Li), this game also became a meme. *Even though it is unknown the origin behind this game, it's possibly that the same creator is also behind Mario Fighter 3 (a hack of Hummer Team's version of Street Fighter II) and Mario IV (a hack of Armadillo) because these 3 games have many things in common, like the Fortran in the title screen with the "王" in the hat, the Super Mario Bros. 3s Mario sprite and the XXXXXXX in the credits. *The cart with the label "Wario Land 7 was seen in a SilvaGunner/SiivaGunner(put both writing variants to not complain) rip. == Gallery == Mario6.jpg|original JY cartridge, curiously, uses the same artwork as Mario IV Screenshot 2014-02-23 at 12.43.38 AM.png|Gameplay.
