This article is about the Angry Birds-themed hack of The NewZealand Story. For games with a similar title, see Angry Birds (disambiguation).

Angry Birds, also dubbed as Angry Birds 2 or Angry Birds 4 in multicarts, is an unlicensed hack of The NewZealand Story (known as Kiwi Kraze in North America) for the Famicom/NES. It is not to be confused with the identically-titled Moai-kun hack; it is often labeled as a "prequel" to Nice Code's Angry Birds Famicom port, despite the game(s) having no actual development connection.

Overview[]

The title screen features Red, along with Matilda (White Bird) and Chuck (Yellow Bird). The game starts in the game's second world instead of the first one (Even though Player 2 can access World 1). The game contains graphical changes, Such as Tiki being replaced by Red, and some enemies changed into Helmet Pigs, while the 2nd world Boss was changed into the King Pig, and the 3rd world Boss was replaced with Fortman Pig.

Due to the hack being based on the PAL version, the music runs slightly faster if played on an NTSC console.
