Block Force is a port of Quarth originally developed by Konami. It was made by Hwang Jiun-Ming, a relative of Hwang Shinwei and released in 1990. The game was often included in multicarts released by RCM Group between 1990 and 1991.

Overview

The game features a level select and a option for test music and sounds. Pressing B button shoot a block and pressing A destroy all the blocks of the screen.

Trivia

  • Konami released their own Famicom port of Quarth the same year.
  • There are two versions of the game, one with copy protection, the other without. On the unprotected version's ROM, there is a what appears to be an digitized portrait of an unknown person (likely one of the developers), complete with an associated tilemap for it.[1]
