Blood Of Jurassic is an original light game made for the Famicom in 1997 by Inventor and published by Shanghai Paradise. The game was later released as Jurassic Hunting: Jurassic Pack in 2005.

In the game, you have to hunt dinosaurs using the light gun at different levels of difficulty to get points, the game has only 6 selectable stages and all end in a main boss.

Notably, the game’s soundtrack, composed by Cao Huaizhen (credited as Dr. Cao), used the NES music driver mainly used in Sunsoft’s later NES releases. Some levels even include bits of parallax scrolling.

Trivia

  • The last two songs are not used in the game for unknown reasons.
  • The gun sprite is taken off from the gun from Doom II.
