Trivia[]
- The box art features Goku as a child and Piccolo Daimao/Demon King Piccolo, both from the original Dragon Ball, despite the game only focusing on Dragon Ball Z.
- The "5" in the title may be a reference to the "Dragon Ball Z Gokuden" series, which only had 4 entries, and the game was meant to be an "unofficial sequel" to those games.
- Although the box art says "Super Gokuden 5", the game's title screen says "Super Butoden 5".
