Elan

Little is known about this Elan hardware, just that it is used in many bootleg, original and (some) officially licensed systems. The company that designed and manufactures these chips is unknown, that said, the company is likely Chinese or Taiwanese in origin.

Design

The exact details of the chips design seems to be a closely guarded secret, and is likely another chip sold exclusively (and privately) to Chinese manufacturers. Elan is almost always manufactured as an unmarked glop-top COB.
