The FC Compact (also known as the CoolBaby RS-35 and CoolBaby RS-36) is an unlicensed Famiclone that was released in 2016 under the CoolBaby brand name.

In the Philippines, it was the first Famiclone (along with the Subor D99) to be released since early 2000s (where sales of Famiclones were declined due to the popularity of 6th and 7th generation video game consoles in that country). In China, this was unofficialy commomerated (alongside with the FC Pocket) for the 30 years anniversary of the release of Family Computer in China in 2016.

Hardware

The FC Compact uses a similar Famicom shell with some major modifications. On the back of the unit, it only includes the composite video ports and the AC port.

The controller is heavily modified, which includes 2 additional A/B buttons (for autofire) and shoulder buttons. The controller, however, is sometimes not responsive, but does not affect normal gameplay.

On the other hand, it has built-in 100 games on the system itself (mislabeled as 88 GAMES in the box). It also includes a multicart of 132 games. Some retailers and wholesalers added optional multicarts for extra additional games.
