Feng Shen Bang

Feng Shen Bang (封神榜) is a Chinese RPG developed and published by C&E Inc. primarily in Taiwan and likely some of Mainland China. Although released in 1995, it was initially planned for 1992 but got delayed twice. It is based on the Chinese epic novel of the same name.

Feng Shen Bang had a tremendeous success in Mainland China. Unauthorized copies overflowed and likely crushed out its official release there.
C&E ceased Famicom activites once that title released.
C&E Decathlon release have a back-sticker that claimed the game was targeted for 1992. The sticker shows photos of the title screen and gameplay suggesting the game was far into development.
The title screen on the released cartridge is mangled. The character had no cape on the photos from 1992 and 1993. This suggests that some of the C&E staff that finished the game development had poor know-how or abilities to execute changes to the game code and graphics.
The rights to the game are supposedly now owned by Super Fighter Team.
