Madagascar 3 is a Russian hack of a Sega Mega Drive game called A Dinosaur's Tale made by an unknown company. The first Madagascar movie came out on May 27, 2005, so this game was obviously developed afterwards. According to the first screen, the story is that Alex and the gang are shipped back to New York on a stage set, and must get back to the zoo. The game is only a level, title screen, and graphic hack. Alex's sprites are taken from the Game Boy Advance version of Madagascar.

- There is not a climbing animation for Alex, the game instead uses a falling animation when the player climbs ladders.
- New York is misspell as "Zoo York" (which is a skating supply company) on the story screen.
- The level select from the orginal game is still here, although the text was removed.
