:I guess the ""generally don't have a publisher tied to them"" part is kind of sketchy but the unlicensed games that are referred here were developed by actual development companies while homebrew games are usually done by hobbyists. - By "actual development companies", do you essentially mean entities that could have qualified to become licensed developers had they tried? Or am I missing something fundamental? --Tepples (talk) 14:09, December 28, 2014 (UTC)
