Someri Sound Engine is a sound/music playback routine mainly used by Hummer Team. It does not appear to be original, as it shares many similarities to the sound engine used in games developed and/or published by Athena, which is especially obvious with Deblock. The first known game to use it was AV Pachinko, a title developed by C&E (composed of a bunch of Hummer Team members) for Hacker International.

Revisions[edit | edit source]

There are four revisions of the engine. They have improved it for each revision by changing some instruments and adding some new ones.

Original[edit | edit source]

Revision 1[edit | edit source]

Revision 2[edit | edit source]

This revision is very similar to the first one.

Revision 3[edit | edit source]

That one could probably fit in Revision 2 but there are some instruments that haven't been used before.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • All games made by Ex-Hummer Team members use the second or third revisions.
