A Hydron cartridge.
Hydron is a series of bootleg game cartridges released in Brazil, distributed by a company of the same name. It seems that they appeared around the early 90s, possibly 1991 or 1992.
Overview[]
They have two connections on both sides of the cartridge; one compatible with the Famicom (60 pins), and the other for the NES (72 pins). Every cartridge had the same label on the front, with a sticker on the back featuring the game's title. The cartridges feature art of two dragons breathing fire with Hydron's logo on the bottom, this art is featured on both sides of the cartridge All games were pirated versions of NES/Famicom titles, including several from Color Dreams. It is unknown when the series of carts were discontinued. The cartridges themselves are very rare, with the amount of games being made completely unknown. The only game confirmed to be on one of carts is Super Mario Bros.
