Tan Ke Feng Yun - King Tank (坦克風雲 King Tank) also known as Super City Tank is a maze game for the NES/Famicom developed by Gamtec and released 1993. Like other NES/Famicom games released by the company, the game uses the sound engine from Twinbee 3.

Overview[]

The game is a direct clone of Battle City. The player or players are tanks that need to protect a castle from enemy tanks. The players need to destroy all tanks in each stage without either losing all their lives or the castle destroyed.

The game has two tank types, grey tanks which are easy to destroy, and yellow tanks which move faster and shoot more projectiles, and are much harder to destroy. Many of the game's powerups are the same as the ones in Battle City, besides two new ammo-based powerups. A yellow missile, and a blue missile, both items destroy all tanks that collide with it, though the latter doesn't also destroy tiles.

Unlike the original game, touching a tank automatically destroys both the player and the enemy.
