Template:Romhack template Kirby's Red Diamond is a bootleg Game Boy Advance game released in the mid-2000s. It is a PocketNES conversion of Kirby's Adventure.

Overview

The game was thought to have been a lost/obscure Kirby game back when it began to appear on online auctions during the early 2000's. If the seller(s) were asked questions about the game, the listings would be immediately taken down, making it very hard to obtain further information. A Nintendo of America employee was contacted about the game, who confirmed that it was a knock-off.

Once booted up, the game displays an image of Kirby running with the title reading "Red Diamand Kibby's Star" upon which it fades to another image of poorly drawn Kirby loosely based on his title screen sprite. The game then reveals itself to be nothing more than a pirated copy of Kirby's Adventure running on the PocketNES emulator. The game's case contains stolen art from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror and Kirby Air Ride with the game's description on the case's back being a copypaste of Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land hinting that this bootleg was released sometime around 2004, along with the fact that Nightmare in Dream Land was a remake of Kirby's Adventure explaining the bootlegger's choice to use this particular installment from the Kirby series. The game's cartridge is unable to save the player's progress similarly to Pokémon Diamond and Jade.
