Lei Dian Huang Bi Ka Qiu Chuan Shuo (also known as Pokémon Yellow) is a pirated game for the NES made by Shenzhen Nanjing.

Overview

Lei Dian Huang Bi Ka Qiu Chuan Shuo (NJ046) (Ch) -!- 002

Pokémon Yellow's Gameplay

It is a Pokémon port, which is a mixture of authentic Pokémon games. It has the storyline from Yellow, the map graphics from FireRed/LeafGreen, the music from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald, and the Pokémon sprites from Gold/Silver/Crystal. The quality of this pirate is unusually high compared to other Shenzhen Nanjing games, as well as other Pokémon pirates, due to how closely this follows official Pokémon games. Even the type matchups and movesets, unlike other Pokémon pirates, are accurate.

Trivia

  • Since this game has some influence from FireRed/LeafGreen, this dates this game to 2004 or later, which is usually late for a game for the NES, a system over 20 years old. This is one of the most recent pirated games for the NES.
  • Many of the songs from this game are, strangely, recycled in other Shenzhen Nanjing games which have nothing to do with Pokémon.
    • Strangely, none of the songs are used in Shenzhen Nanjing's Pokémon Sapphire port, despite all the songs in this pirate coming from Ruby/Sapphire.
  • This pirate borrows some elements from Shenzhen Nanjing's Pokémon Sapphire port, such as the Pokémon Center graphics.
