This is a list of hacks that originate from NES-based handheld devices, specifically ones connected to the manufacturer Touch Game Player. The majority of these hacks appear to have originated from the Play Vision Portable (PVP) line of handhelds, and are also known to appear on other Touch Game Player-affiliated systems (such as the GB Station Light series).
The developer of these hacks is unknown, though is speculated to be Touch Game Player themselves or one of their clients. A small amount of hacks were instead developed by Wellminds for their own handheld systems (e.g. Upin & Ipin 3); at least some of these hacks were republished on PVP-branded consoles. Additional Upin & Ipin-themed hacks (from another unknown developer) were created exclusively for VCOM consoles.
Adventure Island (Takahashi Meijin no Bouken-jima)[]
Boonie Bear 2 (熊出没)[]

Title screen.
Based on the Boonie Bears animated series. Master Higgins is changed to a reddish-colored Briar, and the snake enemies are replaced with Logger Vick, who shoots arrows at the player instead of fire. Oddly, this hack seems to be based off of a fan-made Spanish translation.
This hack is only known to appear on the "403-in-1" variant of the CoolBoy 400-in-1 Real Game; its connection to the Touch Game Player-affiliated ROM set is undetermined.
Minions[]

Title screen.
Master Higgins is changed to Kevin from the Minions/Despicable Me franchise; the scenery palette is also changed. Credited to "Shenzhen Wellminds Tech." on the title screen.
This hack is only known to appear on Wellminds-produced consoles (such as the MOGIS 246-in-1); its connection to the Touch Game Player-affiliated ROM set is undetermined.
Adventure Island II (Takahashi Meijin no Bouken-jima II)[]
Dad, Where Are You Going? (爸爸去哪里)[]

Title screen.
Master Higgins is replaced with one of the kids from the TV series of the same name. The dinosaurs from the original game are now turned into "Dads", and the kid throws taro and collects other obscure vegetables. Based on the Japanese version (as indicated by the butterfly on the title screen). The title is oddly written as "Dad,Where Are You G 'oing?" in-game; it is often labeled as "Were Dad Wentto" in selection menus.
This hack is only known to appear on the "403-in-1" variant of the CoolBoy 400-in-1 Real Game, as well as being included on Wellminds-produced consoles; its connection to the Touch Game Player-affiliated ROM set is undetermined.
Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers[]
Weslie 'n Betty Rescue Rangers[]

Title screen.
Based on the Pleasant Goat animated series. Chip is replaced with Weslie, while Dale is replaced with Tibbie (referred to as "Betty" for unknown reasons). The intro cutscene also features Paddi and Jonnie, also from the TV series. Features minor color palette alterations. Based on the Japanese version, with the original copyright notice and all story text unaltered.
This hack is only known to appear on the "Retro Station Pocket System" 500-in-1; its connection to the Touch Game Player-affiliated ROM set is undetermined.
Bubble Bobble Part 2[]
Pokoyo Pokoyo[]

Title screen.
The hack replaces Bub and Bob with Pocoyo, from the children's TV series of the same name. Due to the color palette being unaltered, the first player is green and the other one is blue. Virtually all other assets (including the copyright notices) are intact.
This hack is only known to appear on a late 2010s revision of the GB Station Light II; it was likely designed for "PVP" consoles initially.
Donald Land[]
Khresna[]

Title screen.
Based on the Little Krishna animated series. Ronald's sprite has been replaced with a rather inaccurate sprite of Krishna; due to having an unaltered color palette, Krishna has white skin instead of a blue color, which is one of his defining traits. He also seemingly wears a red and white kimono instead of yellow pants. Virtually all other assets of the original game are intact. The title screen logo is blanked out, with the copyright notice replaced with "2010 Etta Khresna"; the "Data East Prersents" credit is unaltered. This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable.
Flipull: An Exciting Cube Game[]
Anger Bird 2[]

Title screen.
Changes the player character to Red from Angry Birds, repurposing the sprite from the Angry Birds hack of The NewZealand Story (with his shoes removed). The bird's colors often revert to the blob creature's original palette. The tile featuring the Taito logo symbol is changed to a simple triangle; this is also seen in older pirated versions of Flipull. This game is completely impossible to beat as in level 3, a giant wall of pipes prevent you from clearing many of the blocks. The Flipull title logo is blanked out, while leaving the "An Exciting Cube Game" subtitle. This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable.
Angry Cow 2[]
Based on the Anger Bird 2 hack, replacing Red with a generic (?) cow character. Limited further information is known about this hack.
The Jungle Book[]
Crash[]

Title Screen
Based on the Crash Bandicoot series. Mowgli's sprites have been replaced with Crash Bandicoot, who is somewhat poorly-drawn and is lacking jeans. The title logo and all mentions of Mowgli via text are altered to read "Crash"; a number of Disney legal notices are left intact, leading to the title screen humorously reading "Walt Disney's Crash". Virtually all other assets of the original game are intact. This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable, including the common VT32 revisions of the console.
The Legend of Prince Valiant[]
The Legend of Khresna[]

Title screen.
Based on the Little Krishna animated series. Prince Valiant is replaced with Krishna; his sprites are more accurate to the show, but the color of his skin and clothes are swapped. All instances of Valiant's name via text are changed to "Khresna". Virtually all other assets (including the copyright notices) are intact.
This hack is only known to appear on the "Games Power Family Computer System" (JY02), alongside the "Crash" hacks; it also appears on the Monkey King 3B-based RS-70 648-in-1. The game was likely designed for "PVP" consoles initially.
Little Nemo: The Dream Master[]
Crash IV: The Dream Master[]

Title screen.
The last entry in the series of Crash hacks. Nemo's main sprites are replaced with Crash Bandicoot (who, like in the Jungle Book hack, is lacking jeans); however, the opening cutscene and transformation sprites are intact and still feature Nemo. The "Crash IV" title is written in plain text; the "1905" opening text is changed to 2011.
This hack is only known to appear on the "CoolBoy 8bit Console" (AEF-390); it was likely designed for "PVP" consoles initially.
Bernat: The Dream Master[]

Title screen.
A hack based off of Crash IV. Nemo is changed to a character resembling Yogi Bear, possibly as a tie-in to the 2010 film; though the title of "Bernat" suggests a connection to the Bernard TV series, possibly from mixing up the two properties. Currently unknown if the cutscene or transformation graphics are altered.
This hack is only known to appear on a late 2010s revision of the GB Station Light II; it was likely designed for "PVP" consoles initially. Yogi Bear and Boo-Boo appear as the menu artwork in some early PVP systems, possibly in connection to this hack.[1]
Shaun The Sheep[]
- Main article: Shaun The Sheep

Title screen.
Nemo is changed to Shaun the Sheep; the opening cutscene graphics are also altered. It is currently unknown if the transformation graphics of Nemo are altered (they are left unchanged in Crash IV), due to most PVP-based handhelds lacking Select buttons. The "1905" opening text is changed to 2012. This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable.
Mega Man 3[]
U&I Man III[]

Title screen.
Mega Man is changed to Upin from the Upin & Ipin series. Developed for VCOM's series of Upin & Ipin consoles; it also appears on an unknown 15000-in-1 system (986-872B).
Mitsume ga Tooru[]
Crash III[]

Title screen.
The head on Hosuke's sprite is changed to Crash Bandicoot (while leaving his body intact), using an upscaled version of the sprite used in the other hacks. The cutscene, shop, and game over sprites are also modified to feature Crash's face. Virtually all other assets of the original game are intact. The Tomy splash screen is changed to read "Crash III", while the original Mitsume ga Tooru title logo is left intact (with its copyright information removed).
This hack is only known to appear on a late 2010s revision of the GB Station Light II, as well as the "Games Power Family Computer System" (JY02); it was likely designed for "PVP" consoles initially.
Upin & Ipin 3[]
- Main article: Upin & Ipin 3

Title screen.
Based on the Upin & Ipin series. The intro cutscene has bizarrely been changed to feature Upin as the protagonist, and Ipin (Upin's twin brother) as the villain (contrary to their relationship in the original show); Wato Chiyoko is left intact. All other sprites of the protagonist and antagonist have been changed to Upin and Ipin, respectively. The Tomy logo is changed to read "2010 New Game, Wellminds Tech".
This hack most commonly appears on Wellminds-produced consoles (such as the MOGIS 246-in-1), as well as VCOM consoles. It also appears on some early, more traditional Play Vision Portable models. Oddly, an unknown 15000-in-1 system (986-872B) features a game labeled "U & I 2" (in connection with U&I Man III), which is merely the original Mitsume ga Tooru with its title screen removed.
Moai-Kun[]
Anger Bird[]

Title screen.
Basic title screen variant of the preexisting Angry Birds hack (which is likely not Touch Game Player-affiliated in its original form). This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable.
Angry Cow[]
Based on the preexisting Angry Birds hack, replacing Red with a generic (?) cow character. Limited further information is known about this hack.
Monster in My Pocket[]
Crash 2[]

Title screen.
The Vampire and Monster sprites have been replaced by two Crash Bandicoots (colored red and blue); their selection menu artwork is erased, with their eyes intact. The title screen logo is blanked out, with the copyright text altered to read "Crash 2". Virtually all other assets of the original game are intact. This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable.
The NewZealand Story[]
Anger Birds[]

Title screen.
Basic title screen variant of the preexisting Angry Birds hack (which is likely not Touch Game Player-affiliated in its original form); listed as "Anger Bird 4" in multicart menus. This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable.
Ninja Gaiden III: The Ancient Ship of Doom (Ninja Ryuukenden III: Yomi no Hakobune)[]
Ying Xiong Lian Meng II (英雄联盟 II)[]

Title screen.
Based on the online game League of Legends; changes Ryu Hayabusa into a Yasuo. The cutscene sprites of Ryu are also altered; all text in the cutscenes is blanked out.
This hack is only known to appear on the "403-in-1" variant of the CoolBoy 400-in-1 Real Game; its connection to the Touch Game Player-affiliated ROM set is undetermined.
Shatterhand (Tokkyuu Shirei Solbrain)[]
Ra.One[]

Title screen.
Based on the rather obscure Bollywood movie of the same name. The hack only changes the title screen and the sprite of the character before he is transformed (likely intended to be G.One). The Ra.One theming was likely chosen only chosen due to it being a new movie at the time of the hack's creation. This hack is known to appear on several variants of the Play Vision Portable.
Gangnam Style[]

Title screen.
Changes the title screen and the sprite of the main character before being transformed to Psy, the musical artist who released Gangnam Style.[2]
This hack is only known to appear on a "Classic 8-bit FC TV Consoles" system.[2] It was likely designed for "PVP" consoles initially, particularly given its similarities to Ra.One.
Wacky Races (Chiki Chiki Machine Mou Race)[]
Backkom[]
- Main article: Backkom

Title screen, based on a variant with the logo removed.
Based on the Bernard TV series. Muttley is replaced with Bernard, and Dick Dastardly (in the cutscenes and game over screen) is replaced with Yuri/Pilot. The gems in the levels are now fishes; the first three items (bombs, barking, and wings) are replaced with grenades, ninja stars, and an undetermined third item. Based on the Japanese version, with all story text unaltered.
This hack is known to appear on Wellminds-produced consoles (such as the "BL-826A" 168-in-1); it also appears on the "Games Power Family Computer System" (JY02) with its title screen removed, listed as "Bernat 2" in the menu. Given its presence on the latter console, it is likely that Backkom is a Wellminds production that was also utilized on "PVP" consoles, similar to Upin & Ipin 3.
