The MiWi Xtra is a VT1682-based console released by Macro Winners some time during the late 2000s. The system is one of many Wii clones that were produced in the 2000s. The console is known to have been sold in various territories, such as Northern America by Intec under the name Intec InterAct Complete Video Game, South America, Europe, and East Asia (primarily in China and Hong Kong, as well as Japan by Yuraku as the Yur.Gaming V-MAX16).
Overview[]
The MiWi Xtra is bundled with 4 controllers and comes in a blue color. One of the controllers resembles the Wii Classic Controller Pro, while there are two other controllers called "Genie-Cons" that resemble Wii Remotes. Another motion-activated controller is attached to the user's leg and used for playing soccer games. The Genie-Cons feature attachments for a tennis racket, golf club, ping pong paddles, and a baseball bat, which do not affect the gameplay.
The Intec InterAct Complete Video Game added the option for a green color. Compared to the usual MiWi console shell, the inside of the colored plastic on the right is more curved inward instead of straightforward with the plastic being rounded.
List of games[]
The system comes with 2 cartridges, one of them being offered as a bonus cartridge containing "32 games". It mixes two compilations with 16 games each, one of them (the second one, "16 in 1") being made by Cube Technology as well as its own menu and the console's overall menu. The first one, along with its menu, were made by Waixing. The most prominent cartridge contains a mix of 8 sports games made by both Cube and Waixing.
The Yur.Gaming V MAX-16 bundles in a 17-in-1 cartridge instead.
8-in-1 Games[]
- Place Kick Master Football Championship
- Bowling - This game is infamous for choosing for the third playable character's portrait a cutout of the face of Dr. Wallace Breen from Half-Life 2. In the version bundled with the Intec InterAct, a copyright from the Chinese registration office was added, indicating more obviously a connection to Waixing. Strangely, all names were replaced with "player1", "player2", etc.
- Tennis Exciting
- Ping Pong
- Fishing Master
- Master Golf
- World Series
- TV Karate - In the version bundled with the Intec InterAct, this game is titled TV Boxing instead and has a different more cartoony font for the title, instead of the original's Impact-esque font.
