Pinball is a plug and play system released by Advance Bright Limited in 2005. The system contains only one game, which is a heavily modified VT03 hack of the NES/Famicom game Rock'n'Ball developed by DJ-Jungle.

Overview[]

The system is a small controller with a rectangle-shaped pinball overlay with buttons for the flippers, a plunger, and select and start buttons. The controller also features nudging, which is seemingly done by shaking the controller, as well as rumble.

The game itself features all the same modes from Rock'n'Ball, but removes all multiplayer and option menus from the game. All of the game's graphics are modified to deviate themselves from the original game, and the music is entirely made up of sampled audio likely taken from various sources. Notably, the main pinball board is now renamed to "Go-Kart" and features reversed rails. 9-Ball is also renamed to "Fun Land".

Trivia[]

  • A demo ROM that exclusively contains the menu from this game was included as a download on V.R. Technology's website. This ROM features a splash screen crediting DJ-Jungle.
