B.A.F. Comercio LTDA otherwise known as Players is a company best known for being credited on a large amount of pirated PlayStation discs from the early 2000s. They are usually characterized by using a edited version of the Indiana Pacers logo, which they later changed to look more generic.
Overview[]
Very little is known about the company. They seemingly started to create pirated PlayStation discs and to a lesser extent, pirated Game Boy Color games in the early 2000s. Their PS1 bootlegs usually lack the Sony or PlayStation branding, but certain releases (likely made for the US market) do use both names, as well as ESRB rating being included. They were commonly distributed in parts of Europe and South America. Players would also distribute various clone consoles by Zoga and Songa including Famiclones, Genesis/Mega Drive clones, and SNES clones.
Players would also release a large amount of compilation discs which would feature 3 games each. Hundreds of volumes of these discs are known to exist, almost all of them being undumped.
