Overview[edit | edit source]
Compared to the original, this game uses the maps and storyline from the original games. However, all the Pokémon in the game come from Pokémon Platinum, a game that Shenzhen Jncota Technology has also ported to the NES. This means the starters you receive are also from the fourth generation, meaning you'll get to choose between Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. The music, however, comes from the third generation (Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) but done on Konami's sound engine.
