Shi Jie Zhi Bang Zheng Ba Zhan (金冠軍兄弟象 世界職棒爭覇戰, literally Golden Champion Brothers Elephant's World Series Showdown) is a baseball game for Sega Mega Drive, developed by C&E and released in 1994.
Overview[]
The game is a baseball simulator headlined by one real team: the Brother Elephants from Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) of Taiwan that also features 23 fictional teams based on actual teams from around the world. The game has four main game modes including Pennant Mode, Tournament Mode, Open Mode, and All-Star Mode. It also has an Option Mode with a few basic functions as well as a player name editor. Progress in Pennant Mode, Tournament Mode, and player name edits are saved via internal Save RAM.
Teams[]
Besides the faithfully represented Brother Elephants, there are 23 fictional teams that have names, logos and players based off of actual 1993 teams from leagues including Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) and the United States' Major League Baseball (MLB). The NPB teams and others join the Elephants in the fictional "League of Asia" while MLB teams compose almost all of the "League of America". The team names tend to be thematically similar ("Cats" replaces "Cubs") or start with the same letter ("Rhinos" replaces "Rangers"). Their logos also share similar color schemes with their real-world counterparts.
Meanwhile, player names, performance, and positions closely mirror their real-world counterparts. Notably, the MLB-based teams even feature real player surnames transliterated into Chinese ("李" replaces Lee"), while the NPB-based teams featured have altered last names ("谷田" replaces "古田"). Aside from the Brother Elephants, the players' statistics featured in-game are fictional approximations of actual performance. Also, only the Elephants players have portraits.

Trivia[]
- The game greatly resembles the 1992 Japan-only PC Engine game Power League V, a Japanese baseball game released by Hudson Soft. The gameplay, HUD, baseball players graphics, and text for events such as strikes and outs in C&E's game appear to be very closely modeled after Hudson's PC Engine game.
