*Apart from widespread opinion that it's the only unlicensed game on SNES, the amount of bootleg SNES reproductions, as well as ports of pirated games from the Mega Drive, prove the opposite point of view.

Super 3D Noah's Ark (official title, also sometimes called Super Noah's Ark 3D) is a total conversion of Wolfenstein 3D in both Super Nintendo and DOS versions developed by Wisdom Tree.

Overview

The player's goal is to manage Noah's deeds in his ark for six days (i.e. episodes), by making a lot nervous animals in it fall asleep. Despite the context, though, this game retains absolutely the same gameplay as the original Wolfenstein 3D, along with the secret walls and treasures, yet all levels in Super 3D Noah's Ark are new.

The gameplay differences between both versions are really slight, with this game's interpretation of rocket launcher (melon catapult) making appearance on the PC as well. Although there is one considerable difference: the PC version has 'Bible quizzes' which appear in many other Wisdom Tree's games, where the player gets his health and ammo refilled in case if his answer is correct. As well as that, this TC has more levels than the SNES port of Wolfenstein 3D, where there was three floors per episode. At the same time, the amount of maps in both versions of Super 3D Noah's Ark are considerably smaller than in the actual Wolfenstein 3D.
