Super Fighter 2001 Alpha [超級格鬥2001α] is a Game Boy Color game made by Vast Fame. It is possibly a GBC port of King of Fighters 2001.

Overview

The game plays similar to Queen Fighter 2000, as it is based on the same Takara fighting game engine. There are 24 different characters to choose from, mostly from SNK fighters like King of Fighters but with changed names. The game features both single player and multiplayer modes, both in single and team format.

Trivia

Two of the characters, Cio and Dina, are from a previous V.Fame fighter called Queen Fighter 2000. It's unknown if the other Queen Fighter characters were planned to be brought over or not.
