Wait i think this was orginated for looney toon characters because main character is Bugs bunny look alike, enemy looks like the guy from roadrunner and some of the enimes are from Taz. mabey it is a hack or not.Supersonicdude91 21:28, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
They probably stole the characters from other games, but I'm almost sure the game itself was programmed from scratch. What makes me doubt is the fact the carrot counter has a mushroom. Ninja-Kun 21:37, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
Also how the cartridge has a picture from the russian show.Supersonicdude91 21:54, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
That's because the game is based on "Nu, pogodi!", a Russian cartoon series. "Wait and see!" is the English translation of the name of the cartoon. This is not the first game based on "Nu, pogodi!". A Pac-Man clone with the same characters was made in East Germany in the 80s by the Karl Marx Polytechnical University. Ninja-Kun 21:57, May 24, 2011 (UTC)
Edited without further mention. The game itself may have the title of the actual cartoon and the heroes of it (ahem, only on cover), but, apart from that, it's absolutely unconnected to the Nu Pogodi series themselves (I'm telling you this as a man who spent all my childhood watching these shorts). Also, mind you, "Nu, pogodi!" is not translated as "Wait and see!", but rather as "Just you wait!" Dragon Co. probably used this title to make this, er, thing sell more copies. 193.151.12.69 08:42, May 28, 2011 (UTC)
I went to google translate and it said WELL, WAIT! Any clue of that?Supersonicdude91 17:30, May 28, 2011 (UTC)
I think you'll find that Google Translate isn't very accurate. "Just You Wait!" would make more sense IMO. Cheetahmen 19:40, May 28, 2011 (UTC)
I was looking for video's on youtube and it is WELL, JUST YOU WAIT. Supersonicdude91 00:10, May 29, 2011 (UTC)
