Yun Sung Electronics was a South Korean game developer who appeared around the early 1990s.
Overview[]
Little is known about the company. They first started developing games in 1993, where they released Castle of Dracula as "Y.S.E". The game was running on the hardware used for Dynax Soft's Dragon Punch with a OKI6295 sound chip replacing the YM2203. Unlike most of Yun Sung's other games, Castle of Dracula mainly uses assets stolen from Amiga games.
Around the same time, Yun Sung partnered with another arcade game maker known as Soft Vision, formerly known as Soft Art. They developed some of the games released by Yun Sung from that point on. Soft Vision is usually credited on the high score board.
Yun Sung mainly released adult arcade games. Much like most other arcade games in the same vein, would feature the ability to turn off the nudity, either through using the DIP switches or by using another set. Most of Yun Sung's games would simply be clones of other preexisting games. These games would also be littered with stolen assets.
